Our focus on infrastructure development aims to enhance urban living through innovative projects. We have introduced smart bus stops that offer real-time information, Wi-Fi access, and comfortable seating to improve the commuter experience. Additionally, we have renovated the Traffic Police Park to create a safe and engaging space for the community, promoting traffic safety and awareness. We are also planning many other infrastructure projects in the coming days, such as skywalks, to further improve urban mobility, convenience, and road safety for the public.

"Smart Nildhana - Phase 1" (smart bus station) at Nrupathunga Road
Bengaluru, October 2, 2024 – In a landmark development, the Shilpa Foundation, in collaboration with Sapiens India Pvt Ltd, proudly inaugurated a state-of-the-art Smart Bus Station at Nrupathunga Road, Bengaluru. This initiative, developed under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, was launched by Karnataka’s Minister for Transport and Muzrai, Mr. Ramalinga Reddy, and officially handed over to the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).
Mr. Ramalinga Reddy praised the partnership between Sapiens and Shilpa Foundation, highlighting the station’s advanced features designed to enhance public convenience and safety, especially for women. He emphasized that such smart stations would serve as a benchmark for future public infrastructure projects in Bengaluru.
Key Features of the Smart Bus Station:
- 24/7 CCTV Surveillance: Ensures safety with cameras connected to local police stations.
- Panic Button for Women’s Safety: Immediate alert to police in case of emergencies.
- Sanitary Pad Vending Machine: Accessible by QR code, available round the clock.
- Charging Stations: 24/7 mobile and laptop charging points for commuters.
- IOT-Enabled Garbage Bins: Sensor-based bins for timely waste segregation and disposal.
- Real-Time Bus Information Displays: Four displays providing live updates on BMTC bus schedules.
- Rainwater Harvesting System: Sustainable rainwater collection for efficient use.
- Space for Snack Vending Machine: Planned installation to enhance commuter convenience.
This project, along with two other smart bus stations in Bengaluru under the ‘Brand Bengaluru’ initiative, sets a new standard in modernizing the city’s public transport infrastructure. The station was officially transferred to BBMP, and it will serve the public without displaying advertisements. Instead, informational content from BBMP and other government departments will be featured.
This smart bus station is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the Shilpa Foundation and Sapiens Technologies in bringing innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions to Bengaluru’s public transport system.
Government School Revamp
As part of the REST (Rural Education Support and Training) initiative by Team Shilpa Foundation, the Government Higher Primary School in Hunasavalli, Thirthahalli, along with other locations in the Karnataka region, received a vibrant and colorful makeover through a fresh coat of paint.
Renovated Traffic Police Park
The park, which had been in ruins for some time on St. Mark’s Road in the heart of Bangalore, has now been renovated as a Traffic Police Park by the Bangalore Police Department in private partnership Fidelitus Gallery, in collaboration with the Shilpa Foundation, has rendered its service to the entire park’s interior walls by beautifully writing traffic information with color pictures.
